A name that is easy to say, and a brand people recognise from across the room.
We work with companies that grew faster than their brand, and with new ventures that don't have a name yet. We look for the name with a method, test it out loud and dress it in an identity your team can use from Monday.
Does any of this sound familiar?
Your current name gets confused with another company's, or nobody knows how to spell it.
You're launching a new product or line and don't want it to look like an add-on.
The brand looks different everywhere: the site says one thing, the catalog another, the truck a third.
You grew, changed industry or merged, and the brand got left behind.
From a hundred names to one
120+
names on the long list
They come from interviews, the brand territory and a lot of discarding.
30
pass the first filter
Easy to say, no odd meanings, and they don't sound like a competitor.
8
survive the checks
Domain, social handles and a preliminary trademark search.
3
finalists to decide on
Each with its story, its risks and how it looks written down.
What we ask every name
Can you say it the first time?
We read it out loud, over the phone and in a voice note. If it needs spelling out, it loses points.
Is it spelled the way it sounds?
Someone who hears it once should be able to search for it without typos.
Is it free?
We check domain, social handles and run a preliminary trademark search. Your legal adviser confirms the final registration.
Does it work in two languages?
If you'll sell abroad, we check it doesn't mean something else in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
Does it leave room to grow?
A name glued to one product feels small once you add the second.
Can it be drawn?
Some words ask for a logo; others fight every typeface. We test before choosing.

How we do it
Listen
Interviews with owners, team and, when possible, a few customers. That is where the brand finds what it has to say.
Territory
Where the brand stands: what it promises, its tone and who it stands apart from.
Names
Long list, filters and checks. You walk into the meeting with three defensible finalists, not a spreadsheet.
Identity
Logo, colour, type and first applications, tested small and on dark backgrounds.
Handover
Files, guide and a session with your team so the brand is used well from day one.
Ways to work together
Naming only
Name, checks and key messages.
Full identity
Name, logo, visual system and guide.
Rebrand
We tidy what exists without losing what people recognise.
Brand and website together, to launch everything at once.
Questions we get a lot
How long does a naming project take?
Three to five weeks for the name. With visual identity, six to ten, depending on how many applications you need.
Do you register the trademark for us?
We run a preliminary search to rule out obvious conflicts. For formal registration we recommend an IP agent, and we can coordinate with yours.
What if we already have a logo and just want it tidied up?
Very common. We start by auditing how it's used today and decide together whether adjusting is enough or a redesign makes more sense.
Do we get the editable files?
Yes. Source files, web and print versions and the guide are yours.
Tell us what you're working on
We read every message and reply with one concrete step: a question to clarify, a diagnostic, an estimate or a call.
